Dog Jacket for the Frightened Dog

This jacket is for the shy or very nervous dog to wear. Have you gone on walks and strangers approach and try to pet your dog before asking? This jacket triggers a different response from most people. They seem to ask first before petting. Most likely because people associate red jackets or the words, "In Training", with seeing-eye dogs. This jacket looks nothing like those jackets, but they promote the same reaction. This makes it possible to keep your dog safer and helps your dog feel more secure knowing that you are the one protecting them. Once a person asks to pet your dog, you can instruct them on how to approach your dog in a less aggressive manner to the dog or provide treats for them to give the dog letting them know these strangers are not going to hurt them.

This jacket is meant as a training tool only allowing you the time to help your dog become more socially comfortable out in public. It is not meant to provide you access to stores or places where normal dogs are not allowed. Please do not abuse the use of this jacket as it may end up harming the access rights of a seeing-eye dog to the store you have tried to enter.

The jackets are made of quilted material in colors red and green only. Later, I might expand the colors, but this is what I have right now. The color of the letters will be complimentary and bright to help them stand out on both sides. There are reflective stripes to help cars to see them at night. This jacket is also reversable so if you decide your dog no longer needs the words you will have a beautiful plain jacket to put on them when it gets colder.
